Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Portland, OR seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Location: 3036 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97212.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm PST. You will provide customer service, assist with stock and data entry, ensure compliance with federal/state requirements, and collaborate with clinic staff.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Assists the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensures compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
