Job summary

CVS Health Corporation’s Omnicare unit is hiring a Back-End Pharmacy Technician in a full-time, on-site role at the Ballston Spa, NY location. You will support order fulfillment in a closed-door pharmacy, handling packaging, dispensing verification, inventory and coordination with drivers to ensure accurate deliveries.

The position requires a pharmacy technician license, high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• PTCB National Certification preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care or pharmacy/retail/customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple pharmacy workstations: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging.
• Receive deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, coordinate with drivers for timely shipments.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.

You will work in various workstations allowing you to grow your skillsets further. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy setting, including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.
