Job summary
International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will support a technology-enabled pharmacy operation by preparing, packaging, and distributing medications to ensure veterans receive timely access to their necessary medications.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Pharmacy Technician certification, and strong capabilities in inventory management and pharmacy automation. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401k are also offered.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Basic typing and PC skills.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; push or pull up to 150 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute prescription orders accurately.
- Maintain inventory and stock shelves.
- Operate pharmacy automation and repackaging equipment.
- Select correct medications using scanning equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pharmacy equipment.
- Follow SOPs and hazardous material precautions.
