Job summary

OneCare LTC, LLC in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Automation department. The role focuses on filling prescriptions using Parata ATP2 equipment, data entry, and ensuring timely medication shipments for long‑term care facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, a valid license, and basic computer skills. Shifts include mornings and evenings with rotating weekends; competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician experience (1 year preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Parata and/or SynMed technology preferred.
• Moderate computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily/monthly prescriptions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with preparing daily and monthly medication shipments
• Able to lift 50+ lb. totes of medications
• Communicate directly with the pharmacist
• Clean and maintain the Parata ATP2 equipment when necessary to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure that the Parata ATP2 machine has the correct and necessary supply of medication within the dispensing unit to prepare the medications for each facility
• Proper handling of all equipment
• Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations

Shift availability: Must be available for a combination of morning (8:00am–4:30pm) and evening (2:00pm–10:30pm) shifts with rotating weekends required.

Work location: Onsite in Troy, MI
