Job description

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support overnight operations in a Long-Term Care (LTC) mail order pharmacy environment. This position offers a unique schedule of working seven consecutive overnight shifts followed by seven days off (8:30 PM – 5:00 AM) for a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting approximately 13 weeks.

Responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications, verifying prescription information, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and supporting pharmacy operations specific to LTC mail order services. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently during overnight hours are essential to ensure timely and precise medication delivery.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) national certification (preferred)
• Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician, with LTC experience considered a strong plus
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced mail order setting

Schedule:

• Wednesday through Thursday overnights, 7 days on, 7 days off
• Shift hours: 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM

This role is designed as a temporary to direct hire position, offering the potential for long-term employment after the initial 13-week contract period.
