Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Apprentice in Michigan to interact with customers and support the pharmacy team. You will use pharmacy systems, assist the pharmacist, and help maintain accurate patient and drug records while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills and familiarity with store systems.
• Prefer knowledge of inventory control; PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cashiers if certified.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Enter patient and drug information, check for interactions, and support workflow.
• Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
