Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our team and support a patient-centric care model. You will interact with customers, assist pharmacists, and participate in a comprehensive technician training program designed to prepare you for PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Prefer good math and computer skills; inventory knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in prescription processing.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs; check for interactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Maintain inventory and seek opportunities to contribute to pharmacy operations.
• Follow company policies and the Walgreen Co. Code of Conduct.
