Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its Pharmacy Technician team in Florida. As a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice you will work closely with customers, assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations. The program emphasizes earning while you learn and building patient relationships through hands-on experience.

You will train to obtain PTCB certification and contribute to a high-quality patient care environment, with opportunities to grow within Walgreens’ pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and daily store operations.
• Handle clerical tasks, cash handling, and basic customer service.
