Job summary

Walgreens is transforming pharmacy technician roles into a patient-centric experience with training opportunities and an apprenticeship program recognized by ASHP & Department of Labor. You’ll work closely with patients, assisting pharmacists and learning to become a certified pharmacy technician.

The program offers hands-on courses, ongoing education, and guidance toward PTCB certification, with real opportunities to grow within Walgreens’ pharmacy teams and healthcare clinics.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in filling prescriptions and patient care.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive patient experience.
• Support inventory management and store operations as needed.
