Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy technician team with a patient-centric approach. The role offers hands-on experience, a structured apprenticeship, and pathways to certification through PTCB and on-the-job training.

You will work under pharmacist supervision, support prescription processing, customer service, and inventory tasks, while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment. An entry path to certification is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills to accurately count, measure and weigh medications.
• Good computer skills to operate pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and patient information.
• Enter patient and drug data into pharmacy systems and assist in cashiering as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions to enhance the customer experience.
• Support inventory management by ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of medication dispensing and adherence to policies.
