Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its pharmacy technician roles toward patient-centric care. As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you will engage directly with customers, build patient relationships, and use advanced systems to support prescriptions and clinical services.

The program offers an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship pathway and aims to develop you into a certified pharmacy technician.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in daily pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and assist customers to locate OTC items.
• Support inventory management and supplier receiving activities.
