Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to play a central role in patient-centered care. You’ll assist the pharmacist, process prescriptions, and help provide a delightful customer experience while training through an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized program.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, work with pharmacy systems, and strive toward PTCB certification while supporting Walgreens’ commitment to care and community health.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate dispensing, including counting, measuring.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, and supports pharmacy operations.
• Engages customers and patients to deliver a delightful customer experience.
• Handles prescription processing, inventory management and cash handling in accordance with company policies.
