Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medications and entering patient data.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to deliver a distinctive Walgreens service experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and stocking medications.
• Handle transactions and maintain accuracy at the cash register.
