Job summary

Walgreens is transforming its Pharmacy Technician roles to a patient-centric model, offering a training path from apprentice to certified technician. You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and provide exceptional customer service in a Walgreens pharmacy environment.

We support growth through our “earn while you learn” Technician Training Program, recognized by ASHP & Department of Labor, helping you pursue PTCB certification and advance within the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Six months of retail experience preferred.
Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Basic computer skills and comfort with pharmacy software.
Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties per policy.
Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; process prescriptions; assist with cash register operations.
Deliver a courteous, proactive customer experience and build relationships with patients.
Support inventory management and pharmacy operations as needed.
