Qualifications

• Assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Gathers patient and drug information and processes prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
• Adheres to Pharmacy Code of Conduct and maintains accuracy in dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assists pharmacist with scheduling, inventory, and clerical duties as needed.
• Processes (corrects and resubmits) prescriptions and handles third party claims as required.
• Maintains relationship with local medical community and supports clinical services as needed.
• Operates pharmacy cash registers and ensures proper register cash handling.
