Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties per policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling and workflow under the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering and receiving stock.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare clinics as needed.
• Provide a distinctive and compassionate customer experience.
