Job summary

Walgreens in Seattle is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centered team. You’ll work under the pharmacist, assist with prescriptions, and use pharmacy systems to deliver accurate service.

The role includes training through our ASHP/DOL-approved program, earning PTCB certification, and developing strong relationships with patients. Prior retail experience and good math/computer skills are preferred; evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience preferred (six months).
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• Strong math and computer skills for prescription filling and POS use.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Support cash handling and transactions at the register.
• Help with inventory management, ordering, receiving and stocking.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build patient relationships.
