Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice to sit at the front lines with customers, assisting pharmacists and building strong patient relationships. The program offers an earning while learning path, with guidance toward PTCB certification and ongoing skill development within Walgreens’ modern pharmacy setting.

You will learn to use pharmacy systems, process prescriptions, and support patient care, while receiving training across operations, customer service, and clinical services

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Education and certification support through Walgreens programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and support pharmacy duties as required.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide a delightful customer experience and help resolve questions.
• Support inventory management and maintain accuracy in dispensing activities.
• Assist with clerical tasks, scheduling, and coordination of clinical services as needed.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and Good Faith Dispensing standards.
