The Pharmacy Technician Training Program, recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, offers an earned-pay apprenticeship toward PTCB certification and helping you advance in the pharmacy care industry.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a distinctive and patient-focused customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Participate in inventory management and maintain stock levels.
