Job summary

Walgreens invites motivated individuals to become Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice. You will interact with customers, assist the pharmacist, and learn through the Walgreens Pharmacy Technician Training Program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor.

You will gain hands-on experience with pharmacy systems, participate in training, and work toward PTCB certification while contributing to patient care and daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashiers in the pharmacy.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships.
• Maintain inventory and assist with stocking supplies and pharmacy operations.
• Support clerical tasks and ensure accurate data entry and reimbursement processes.
