Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develops relationships with valuable customers.
• Assists pharmacists with prescriptions, entering data, and checking for interactions.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and supports inventory management activities.
• Under pharmacist supervision, adheres to policy and assists with workflow and clerical tasks.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to policies.
• Processes manual claims for third-party prescription services and supports other duties as assigned.
