Job summary

The program includes an ASHP and Department of Labor–recognized apprenticeship, guiding you toward PTCB certification while you gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Math skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and verify details.
• Provide excellent customer service and help patients with questions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cashier duties as needed.
• Support Pharmacy Manager with scheduling and workflow.
