Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician/Technician Apprentice in Medway, MA. You will interact with customers, support pharmacists, and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions while building patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and other duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical products.
• Provide a friendly, distinctive customer experience and service.
