Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate counting and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach technicians in pharmacy system operation and cash register use.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Participate in inventory management activities: ordering, receiving, storing medications.
• Support scheduling and maintaining workflow in the Pharmacy Department.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow Quality Improvement procedures.
• Handle cash and assist customers with OTC products and store navigation.
