Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centric team. You will interact with customers, learn technology tools, and support the pharmacist in dispensing medications under supervision.

The program emphasizes earning while learning, preparing you for PTCB certification and potential advancement in the Walgreens pharmacy care team. Prior retail exposure and strong customer service are valued.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of inventory control.
PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Process prescriptions by entering patient and drug information and ensuring accuracy.
Assist with inventory management and store operations as needed.
Deliver a positive customer experience and support Walgreens service traits.
