Job summary

Walgreens is hiring Pharmacy Technician roles focused on patient-centered care and strong customer relationships. Trainees participate in an earn-while-you-learn program, working under pharmacist supervision to enter data, fill prescriptions, and support clinical services.

The program aims to help you become a PTCB-certified technician, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience and knowledge in pharmacy operations and patient care.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
Prefer good computer skills.
Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
Operates pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and assist pharmacists in dispensing.
Assists with inventory management and maintaining department appearance.
Supports pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services and outreach.
