Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications (preferred).
• PTCB certification obtained or in process; required for promotion to senior technician.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience and model service best practices.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision, handling prescriptions and entering information.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist and adhere to quality procedures.
• Handle cash, assist customers to OTC aisles, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare providers.
• Develop relationships with local medical communities and maintain department cleanliness.
