Job summary

Walgreens in Lewisburg, TN is hiring Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Technician Apprentices who will be at the heart of patient care, assisting the pharmacist and engaging customers with care and accuracy.

The program offers hands-on training, ASHP/DOL recognized apprenticeship, and a path to PTCD certification, with the goal of growing into skilled pharmacy professionals while earning on the job.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and assist with third-party claims.
• Provide a respectful, helpful customer experience and answer questions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with store operations as needed.
