Job summary

Walgreens in Gardner, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the heart of patient care. You will interact with customers, build strong relationships, and support the pharmacy team with accuracy and empathy.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter patient data, fill prescriptions, assist with inventory, and participate in Walgreens' earn-while-you-learn training program to pursue PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills, computer skills, and inventory control knowledge; PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services.
• Assists pharmacists under supervision, enters patient and drug information, and helps fill prescriptions.
• Handles cash register operations and guides customers to OTC products.
• Maintains inventory and supports department with ordering, receiving, and storage of Rx goods.
• Supports clinical services coordination and coordination with healthcare providers.
