Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its pharmacy team with Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Technician Apprentice roles focused on patient-centric care. You will interact with customers, build relationships, and use advanced technology to support the pharmacy operations.

Applicants may participate in an ASHP & DoL-recognized apprenticeship program, guiding you toward PTCB certification and enhanced pharmacy skills. Training spans foundational and advanced clinical services and on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Handle cashier duties and cash handling.
• Support inventory management and replenishment of pharmaceutical supplies.
