Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the heart of patient care, interacting with customers and building relationships. The program supports certification and career growth toward PTCB credentials.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with dispensing, use pharmacy systems, handle cash, and support inventory and clinical services as needed for a smooth, patient-focused pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and build patient relationships.
• Handle cash transactions and guide customers to OTC products when possible.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and receiving shipments.
• Support clinical services coordination as required.
