Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Apprentice in Brick Township, NJ. You’ll interact with customers, support the pharmacist, and build patient relationships in a technology-enabled environment.

Training is provided through an ASHP/DoL-recognized program aimed at PT CB certification and career progression in pharmacy care. Eligible applicants may advance to specialized duties with experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification or pursuing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions, verify medicine accuracy, and check for possible interactions.
• Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and stocking.
• Provide a courteous, proactive customer experience and handle basic cashier duties.
