Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be front and center with customers, building strong patient relationships and leveraging the latest technology to grow their careers.

The role includes assisting the pharmacist, processing prescriptions, and delivering a delightful customer experience while pursuing a PTCB certification and training pathway.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preference for six months of retail experience.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions and operate pharmacy systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Handle cash and operate the cash register.
• Support inventory management and stocking of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Participate in training and certification programs.
