The Pharmacist Technician 4 prepares medications for patients under the guidance of a Pharmacist and resolves complex problems related to prescription inquiries. Assists the Pharmacist with advanced activities and processes required to dispense specialty medical prescriptions, price-checking, and restocking of drugs, in addition to hazardous or other advanced level compounding. This job level serves as a lead to other pharmacy technicians regarding day-to-day tasks and ensuring quality and safety when preparing medications for patients.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license
Certification and Licensing: Vaild State of Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
