Clarest Health is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician for on-site work in Cheshire, CT, supporting medication delivery to nursing home facilities and home care patients. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include daily order fulfillment, prepacking, labeling, inventory management, and strict adherence to HIPAA and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CT Pharmacy Technician license current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Swiftly fulfill daily medication orders under pharmacist guidance.
• Assist prepacking, labeling, and storage of medications.
• Package materials by hand and ensure quality standards.
• Retrieve medications from storage and maintain inventory levels.
• Label packaging accurately and conduct product scans for accuracy.
• Report any irregularities to supervisory pharmacists.
• Maintain organized workstations and replenish stock supplies.
• Follow HIPAA and safety regulations; stand for extended periods.
• Commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and Compliance policies.

Join our team as a Full Time Pharmacy Technician and dive into a role where you'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless medication delivery to nursing home facilities.

Location: On site at our closed door , Cheshire CT , pharmacy

Salary : starting at $ 1 9 - $21 /hr (dependent upon experience and license type ) (+ $ 3 /hr Shift Differential)

Available Schedule: M onday - F riday 6:00 pm – 2:30 am ; Rotating Weekends (every 6th weekend 12:30pm – 9:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Swiftly and accurately fulfill daily medication orders, ensuring seamless operations under the guidance of a pharmacist
• Contribute to streamlining operations by assisting in the prepacking of frequently requested medications, meticulously labeling, and ensuring proper storage protocols
• Skillfully package materials and products by hand, ensuring each item meets quality standards
• Demonstrate precision in retrieving medications from designated storage areas, maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Contribute to precision and efficiency by meticulously applying labels to medication packaging and conducting thorough product scans for accuracy
• Maintain a vigilant eye for detail, promptly notifying supervisory pharmacists of any irregularities during scanning processes
• Uphold the organization's standards of organization and efficiency by consistently maintaining designated workstations and promptly replenishing stock supplies
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to confidentiality and compliance by adhering to all relevant government regulations, including the strictures of HIPAA
• Prioritize personal safety and workplace compliance by strictly adhering to all relevant safety regulations and policies, recognizing the importance of standing for extended periods as an integral aspect of the role
• Ensure consistent availability by committing to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Must adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• CT Pharmacy Technician license required ( current and in good standing)
