St. Luke’s Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho, seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing medications, process insurance claims, and enter prescription data across our Magic Valley Medical Center Pharmacy.

This role includes med-syncing, patient assistance by phone or in person, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and timely service. The position is full-time with rotating Saturdays.

OurRetail Pharmaciesinclude Retail services, MicroPharmacy, and pharmacy programs such as Med Locker, Meds-to-Beds and Hospice.

• Retail Pharmacy Techniciansprepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate med-syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone.

• Medication Locker Techniciansprepare and deliver medications to medication lockers located in St. Luke’s facilities and throughout the community and communicate with patients when prescriptions are ready for pick up at their convenience.

• Meds-to-Beds Techniciansfill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherenceand eliminates the need for a stop on their way home.

• Micro Pharmacy Behavioral Health Retail Technician supports patients accessing and managing prescription fills. This technician coordinates with clinic providers, patients, and pharmacy systems to ensure seamless medication and community support.

What You Can Expect

• Location: Magic Valley Medical Center Pharmacy

• Schedule: Full-time

• Hours: Variable 8 shifts, rotating Saturdays

• Certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay

• Work in a variety of dynamic environments with other interdepartmental disciplines

• Learn and expand your pharmacy skills with opportunities to advance into leadership and pharmacy business positions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License

PreferredQualifications

• One (1) + years' experience

• CPhT
