Job summary

The University of Miami Health System seeks a dedicated staff member to support the investigational drug services (IDS) team. This role includes CID inventory management, protocol technical assistance, and meticulous record keeping for clinical trials conducted across the Miller School of Medicine.

Responsibilities also cover drug distribution, preparation of IV/chemo products per procedures, and maintaining clean IDS work areas and equipment.

• Prepares intravenous and/or chemotherapy products in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintains the clinical investigational drug work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs workload measurement support functions.
• Maintains proper functioning of equipment used by IDS.

• Performs drug distribution activities. These duties are performed 10% of the day.
• Prepares intravenous and or chemotherapy products in accordance with established procedures. These duties are performed 10% of the day.
• Maintains the clinical investigational drug work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs workload measurement support functions.
• Maintains proper functioning of equipment used by IDS.
