Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Staff member in Miami, FL to manage the clinical investigational drug inventory and assist with trial protocols, performing related duties during the workday.

This role contributes to maintaining clean work areas, ensuring equipment functions properly, and supporting occupational health and safety requirements while participating in workload measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manages the clinical investigational drug (CID) inventory.
• Provides technical assistance with clinical trial protocols.
• Maintains information and assists in the record keeping related to clinical trials.
• Performs drug distribution activities.
• Prepares intravenous and/or chemotherapy products in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintains the CID work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs workload measurement support functions.
• Maintains proper functioning of equipment used by IDS.
• Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations.

Job description

Manages the clinical investigational drug (CID) inventory. These duties are performed 20% of the day.

Provides technical assistance with clinical trial protocols. These duties are performed 20% of the day.

Maintains information and assists in the record keeping related to clinical trials required by the study protocols. These duties are performed 10% of the day.

Performs drug distribution activities. These duties are performed 10% of the day.

Prepares intravenous and or chemotherapy products in accordance with established procedures. These duties are performed 10% of the day.

Maintains the clinical investigational drug work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

Performs workload measurement support functions.

Maintains proper functioning of equipment used by IDS.

Works in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contravention’s of the Act, in a timely manner.
