CHAS Health in Washington/Idaho pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill prescriptions, verify insurance, and support pharmacists. You will enter data, manage inventory, and provide patient-centered service.
This role requires PTCB or NHA certification and state licensure, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; benefits include healthcare, retirement, and education support.

- Wa- or ID- licensure required depending on location.
- Float positions require WA and ID licensure within 120 days.
- Experience with third-party billing is required.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is required.
Responsabilités
- Fills prescriptions accurately by counting, measuring, labeling, and packaging medications.
- Provides excellent customer service to patients utilizing CHAS Health pharmacies.
- Monitors and maintains appropriate levels of medication and supplies, places orders, and manages inventory.
- Enters prescription information into the computer system and maintains patient records.
- Verifies insurance information and processes claims; communicates with providers.
- Collaborates with pharmacists on preparing medications and workflow.
- Follows HIPAA and safety regulations; maintains a clean, compliant space.
- Reviews outside prescriptions for 340B eligibility and documents in EHR.
- Requests refills with appropriate providers and supports CHAS Health mission.

- Fills prescriptions accurately by counting, measuring, labeling, and packaging medications.
- Provides excellent customer service to patients utilizing CHAS Health pharmacies.
- Monitors and maintains appropriate levels of medication and supplies, places orders, and manages inventory.
- Enters prescription information into the computer system, maintains patient profiles, and ensures accuracy in patient records.
- Verifies insurance information, processes insurance claims, and communicates with insurance companies to ensure coverage for prescribed medications.
- Collaborates with pharmacists in various tasks, including preparing medications, managing workflow, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Follows state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices, including HIPAA requirements for patient privacy.
- Keeps the pharmacy area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Reviews outside prescriber prescriptions for 340B eligibility at CHAS Health pharmacies and documents in the electronic health record.
- Requests refills to the appropriate provider on behalf of the patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
- Pharmacy Technician Board certification (PTCB or NHA) certification required.
- Technicians working in Washington locations must have active Pharmacy Technician Certification license with WA Department of Health at time of hire.
- Technicians working in Idaho must have active Certified Pharmacy Technician Registration license with ID State Board of Pharmacy at time of hire.
- Float positions require both ID and WA licensure within 120 days of hire.
- Experience with third-party billing required.
- Experience with electronic health records required.
- Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills required.

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and anticipate future needs is required.

- BLS (CPR/AED) required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required for float positions.
Technicians must be able to move around the facility between one-third and two-thirds of the day, while sitting at a workstation occurs under one-third of the day. Using hands and reaching with arms occurs over two-thirds of the day. Communicating is required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Lifting/moving up to 10 lbs. occurs frequently, while 25-50 lbs. occurs occasionally.
