Job summary

Baldwin Family Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for their White Cloud, Michigan location. The ideal candidate will fill and dispense medications under a licensed pharmacist's supervision and maintain accurate patient records. This non-exempt role offers a 40-hour work week and comes with a full benefits package. Experience in pharmacy is desirable.

• Understanding of 340B rules and regulations.

Job description

Family Health Care is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our White Cloud location!

This is a position in which any range of experience is desirable. Work is performed under the direct supervision of licensed registered pharmacist(s) in storing, preparing, dispensing, reconciling, and charging of all medications to patients serviced by the pharmacy and in compliance with and adhering to all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice, and State Board of Pharmacy practices. Performs all responsibilities according to best practices in the field and reflecting the mission and vision of Baldwin Family Health Care.

Responsibilities

• Fills and dispenses medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Verifies, obtains, and maintains accurate patient demographic, allergy, insurance, and other required information. Enters data into computer as required
• Assists the pharmacist in maintaining an adequate drug inventory and quality control procedures
• Prepares pharmacy work areas for daily activities/ operations/ usages to meet patient and pharmacist needs
• Performs various administrative functions as required
• Understands and demonstrates proficiency in 340B rules and regulations
