Job summary

Eastern Shore Rural Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist by receiving and filling prescription requests for patients, and by maintaining accurate patient profiles. This role supports efficient patient care in a community health setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and pursue PTCB National Certification; prior pharmacy or customer service experience is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential, with flexibility to work

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB National Certification Education required.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
• Must be professional, self-motivated and have strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills.
• Certification as an Interpreter is preferred and ability to provide bilingual patient care is a plus.
