Meijer is a family-owned retailer prioritizing patient care and community support. This position requires practicing the profession of pharmacy in a patient-focused environment, delivering friendly, high-quality service to promote patient health and safety.

You will retrieve medications, input prescription data, generate labels, process insurance claims, stock shelves, and support clinical services while maintaining a clean, confidential, and compliant pharmacy.

Formación

• High School/GED or state Retail/Community Practice requirement.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Neat, legible penmanship and basic math skills.
• Proficient typing skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, work in a team and maintain attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
