Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Pharmacy on nights (9 pm–7 am), full-time with rotating weekends. You will assist with medication preparation, packaging, and delivery within the unit, using EMR and the pharmacy information system to access data and document care.

Process and prepare medication orders by repackaging bulk medication into individual-size packages; round to floors in an accurate and timely manner to deliver medication; add measured drugs or nutrients to intravenous solutions under sterile conditionsDocumentation & Reporting. Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete patient care documentation using the EMR system (Electronic Medical Record); use the pharmacy information system to run reports and access medication data; receive and store incoming supplies and verify quantitiesMaintenance & Sterilization.
