Northeast Grocery is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist in Cobleskill, NY. Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Prepares and dispenses prescription medications, all supervised by the Pharmacist.
• Follow directions from the pharmacist on duty and pharmacy manager.
• Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
• Counsels patients and medical providers regarding drug use, interactions and side effects.
• Fulfill general housekeeping duties.
• Achievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense.
• Maintain security of all controlled substances.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
