Azend Pharma in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Lead Pharmacy Technician for our South Brunswick location. You will receive prescriptions, verify accuracy, and enter data into our system while handling patient questions and payments in a fast-paced setting.

As Pharmacy Lead, you will support the pharmacist with dispensing, inventory, and patient records, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate labeling. A customer-focused approach and strong organization are essential for success.

Responsabilités

• Assist Pharmacist with prescription processing, dispensing, documentation and record keeping.
• Support patient billing including insurance claims processing.
• Maintain prescription and patient records and inventory with regulatory compliance.
• Answer inquiries about medications and store information, process payments.
• Update patient profiles and assist with tasks as needed.
• Receive and stock merchandise and monitor inventory levels.
• Verify accuracy of prescriptions and enter data into the pharmacy system.
• Ensure containers are labeled with patient instructions and cautions.
• Interact with customers and provide assistance as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team at South Brunswick Pharmacy! As a Pharmacy Lead Technician, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting that information into our system. You will also be accepting payments for prescriptions, receiving incoming inventory, and answering customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Pharmacist in Prescription processing, compounding and dispensing medications, documentation and record keeping.
• Patient assistance including billing and processing insurance claims.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Answer customer inquiries about medications, and general store information and process customer payments.
• Maintain and update patient profiles and prescription records and support pharmacist with various tasks as needed.
• Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels.
• Assist pharmacists in verifying the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions and enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy's computer system.
• Ensure that all prescription containers are properly labeled with relevant information, including patient instructions and cautionary labels.
• Interact with pharmacy customers, handle inquiries, and provide assistance to customers as needed.

Pay Rate

• Hourly
