Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures required.
• Proficient in data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; maintains confidentiality.
• Ability to work well with others and uphold quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Familiarity with age-appropriate interactions with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and medical questions to pharmacist.
• Edifies the hospital’s mission and guiding principles in daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• National certification (PTCB) preferred

Minimum Salary USD $24.75/Hr.

Maximum Salary USD $29.58/Hr.
