Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with dispensing procedures and patient information verification. You will collect, input and verify prescriptions and refills, stock supplies, and may prepare labels and prepacked orders. Clerical tasks for the department may also be required.

Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) is required and must be maintained. Must obtain and maintain Pharmacy Technician Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT)) certification
