Medical Center Hospital Community Pharmacy Technician role provides exceptional patient care by assisting the Pharmacist in the safe, accurate and timely dispensing of medications and in maintaining pharmacy inventory.

The position requires a current Texas Pharmacy Tech Certification, the ability to type 25 wpm accurately, and strong multitasking, customer service and communication skills to prioritize work and meet patient needs.

Qualifications

A. Education:

Maintain a current Pharmacy Tech Certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

B. Training and Experience:

Type 25 wpm accurately

Job Knowledge:

• Strong multi-tasking, computer entry, good customer service and communication skills needed.

Ability to prioritize work to meet customer needs.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations to perform accurate dosing.
