Adirondack Health in New York is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a licensed Pharmacist and deliver a broad range of services to patients and hospital staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma, Pharmacy Technician Certification within six months, NY State licensure within eight months; hospital or retail experience preferred; typing and manual dexterity are important.

Position Summary

Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to provide a wide range of pharmacy services to patients and hospital staff.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Pharmacy Technician Certification required within six months of start date and Licensure/Registration with New York State is required within eight months of start date (see section 10 below). Hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred. Typing/Computer skills desirable. Good manual dexterity.

Salary Range

$18.40-$28.50 per hour
