Job summary

Apotheco Pharmacy in New York, NY seeks a reliable pharmacy assistant to support patient care and daily operations. You will handle prescriptions, verify insurance, manage inventory, and coordinate deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

No prior pharmacy experience required, but a customer-focused approach and professional phone presence are essential. Hours are typically Monday through Friday with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent phone presence and customer service skills.
• Experience in pharmacy preferred but not required.

We are looking for someone who is as passionate about patient care as we are! Your job duties will include but are not limited to:

Most of our communication with patients is through the phone, so you must have anexcellent phone presence, including beingfriendly, professional, and well spoken. Although we do not require pharmacy experience, it is appreciated!

Education/Experience

High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required. Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
